NEW YORK<\/span>, Dec. 13, 2018<\/span> \/PRNewswire<\/a>\/ — Sony Music proudly announces the release of SPIDER-MAN™: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)<\/a><\/strong> featuring original music by multiple Golden Globe nominee Daniel Pemberton<\/span>. The soundtrack will be released digitally and on CD on December 17, 2018<\/span>. Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animations’ Spider-Man™: Into the Spider-Verse<\/em> will debut in U.S. theaters on December 14<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Phil Lord<\/span> and Christopher Miller<\/span>, the creative minds behind The Lego Movie<\/em> and 21 Jump Street<\/em>, bring their unique talents to a fresh vision of a different Spider-Man Universe, with a groundbreaking visual style that’s the first of its kind. Spider-Man™: Into the Spider-Verse<\/em> introduces Brooklyn<\/span> teen Miles Morales<\/span>, and the limitless possibilities of the Spider-Verse, where more than one can wear the mask.<\/p>\n

Directed by Bob Persichetti<\/span>, Peter Ramsey<\/span> and Rodney Rothman<\/span>, the screenplay is by Phil Lord<\/span> and Rodney Rothman<\/span> from a story by Phil Lord<\/span> based on the Marvel Comics. The film is produced by Avi Arad<\/span>, Amy Pascal<\/span>, Phil Lord<\/span>, Christopher Miller<\/span> and Christina Steinberg<\/span>. Stan Lee<\/span>, Brian Michael Bendis<\/span> and Will Allegra<\/span> serve as executive producers. The film features the voices of Shameik Moore<\/span>, Jake Johnson<\/span>, Hailee Steinfeld<\/span>, Mahershala Ali, Brian Tyree Henry<\/span>, Lily Tomlin<\/span>, Luna Lauren Velez<\/span>, Zoë Kravitz, John Mulaney<\/span>, Kimiko Glenn<\/span> with Nicolas Cage<\/span>, Kathryn Hahn<\/span> and Liev Schreiber<\/span>.<\/p>\n

ABOUT DANIEL PEMBERTON<\/span>
<\/strong>Daniel Pemberton<\/span> is a multi-Golden Globe, Emmy and Bafta Award-nominated composer who has been regularly cited as one of the most exciting and original new voices working in modern film scoring today. Constantly working with some of the most renowned names in the industry Pemberton has already scored projects for the likes of Danny Boyle<\/span> (Steve Jobs<\/span><\/em>), Ridley Scott<\/span> (All The Money In The World, The Counsellor<\/em>), Aaron Sorkin<\/span> (Molly’s Game<\/em>), Darren Aronofsky<\/span> (One Strange Rock<\/span><\/em>) and Guy Ritchie<\/span> (The Man From UNCLE<\/em>).<\/p>\n

His bold writing and unusual and innovative arrangements on scores for movies has seen the soundtracks constantly singled out for critical acclaim whether they are studio films such as such as “Oceans 8”<\/em> and “King Arthur: Legend of the Sword”<\/em> or smaller independent features such as the Cannes Palm D’Or nominee “Mal De Pierres<\/em>” (starring Marion Cotillard).
