The Thread Shop will leverage its market\nexpertise and its individualized, artist-first approach to merchandise design,\ndevelopment, sales and licensing to produce all-new original offerings from The\nBeatles, as well exciting new Beatles partnerships. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>New merchandise from The Beatles will be made\navailable across The Thread Shop\u2019s robust network of major retail chains and\nleading independent retailers. The Thread Shop will also operate The Beatles\nNorth America direct-to-consumer commerce site, usastore.thebeatles.com.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Richard Story, President, Commercial Music\nGroup, Sony Music Entertainment said, \u201cMore than a half-century after\nBeatlemania first broke out in the U.S., The Beatles remain an unmatched\ncultural force in our society. We are\ntremendously honored that they have entrusted The Thread Shop with their iconic\nbrand, and we look forward to sharing their extraordinary vision with fans.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Thread Shop will introduce its first wave\nof The Beatles merchandise collection with a Beatles holiday pop-up store in\nNew York City from December 11 through December 22. The pop-up will showcase\nnew apparel designs as well an assortment of licensed Beatles clothing, toys,\nand other branded products including turntables and a pinball machine, and\nmore. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In connection with the agreement between Apple\nCorps and Sony Music, Joe Marziotto has joined the Thread Shop Team as Vice\nPresident, Licensing &amp; Marketing to continue active Beatles licensing\nrelationships and develop new opportunities for the band in partnership with\nApple Corps.
